Windemere, a beautiful tree lined community in Baltimore County, Maryland, provides the best of country living in an ideal location. Only a 10 minute drive South on Dulaney Valley Road is Towson, the seat of Baltimore County Government. In any direction, a variety of restaurants and shopping are just a short distance from our community. In a wider view, we are located about 3.5 hours south of New York, 2.5 hours west of the eastern shore beaches of MD. and DE., 1.5 hours south of Philadelphia and 1.5 hours North East of our Nation's Capital, Washington, D.C.

Windemere is convenient to many historic sites such as Hampton Mansion and Ladew Topiary Gardens. Recreation abounds with nearby Loch Raven Reservoir and Oregon Ridge Park and Nature Center. Pine Ridge, Fox Hollow, Rocky Point and Greystone Golf Courses are but a short distance away. In less than a 5 mile drive residents over age sixty may take advantage of the Jacksonville Senior Center where they offer exercise and a variety of classes. Music lovers can enjoy The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in downtown Baltimore. Fine public lectures are given at Goucher College and Towson University.

Children receive their Elementary education at Carroll Manor, Middle School at Cockeysville Middle and High School at Dulaney or Loch Raven, some of the finest public schools in Maryland. The Fire Station Response Area is Long Green Volunteer Fire Company and the Police Precinct is Parkville, Md. Two outstanding hospitals are located within 15 minutes, Greater Baltimore Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital.
